Der bekannte deutsche KI Forscher Joscha Bach (auch bekannt als damaliger Anwärter auf den Titel „Der Große Diskutator“ von dem Forum „nensch“), wurde von Jeffrey Epstein mit einer Million Dollar finanziell unterstützt. Hier seine Erklärung:
„Consequently, I decided to accept Epstein’s offer to fund a research stay in the U.S. Back then, I felt that I had the choice between spending the rest of my life in startup companies, or take the opportunity to visit MIT. The price I had to pay was becoming dependent on a single individual. I would not have been able to fund a move to the U.S. and living expenses for a family of four on a postdoctoral salary.”
Was war die Gegenleistung? Hony soit qui mal y pense, er war mal selbst auf der Insel, aber hatte Frau und Kinder nicht dabei. Angeblich gab es, bis auf ein paar rassistische, faschistische und misogyne Äußerungen, die lediglich aus Höflichkeit (besser gesagt Opportunismus) als Bestätigung für das verschrobene Weltbild von Epstein gedacht waren (man muss ja mit den Wölfen heulen), gar keine. Nur reine Wissenschaft.
Schwer zu glauben. Denn:
Epstein’s exchanges with thinkers like Bach, in other words, were hardly aberrations. They flowed out of a shared environment in which extreme ideas about hierarchy, optimisation and human worth were debated casually among individuals building the core infrastructure of the digital age.
Analyzing emails that Epstein’s estate turned over to the House Oversight Committee, the report digs into, for example, one 2016 email in which tech researcher and influencer Joscha Bach suggests that Black kids’ brains “are slower at learning high-level concepts” but adds that they maintain high motor skills that make them better adapted “to a more hunting/running style of life.”
In other emails, Bach tells Epstein that there are hardly any women in math because it “does not yield social attention,” that climate change might be “a good way of dealing with overpopulation” and that fascism, while discomforting to him personally, is “probably the most efficient and rationally stringent way of governance, if someone could pull it off in a sustainable way.”
Später hat er sich von diesen faschistoiden Ansichten distanziert.
Und nun? Was soll ich glauben?
Kein Mensch ändert sich, er passt sein Verhalten nur den Umständen an. Es ist mir egal, was er wirklich glaubt, er ist ein Opportunist.
